ARRANCA Y SELECCIÓN DE PLANTAS

Cada lote (variedad/clon/porta injerto) arrancado y seleccionado es un lote que se injertó la temporada anterior (invierno) de acuerdo a  solicitud de nuestros clientes. Las combinaciones de patrones y variedades se eligen, en la gran mayoría de los casos,  tomando en consideración las recomendaciones de nuestro equipo teniendo en cuenta algunos parámetros relevantes tales como: zona geográfica, tipo de suelo, disponibilidad de agua, sistema de conducción del viñedo, objetivos de calidad y nivel rendimiento esperado.

Cabe señalar que donde plantamos nuestros materiales es un terreno que solo usamos  por dos temporadas y siempre vamos buscando nuevos campos para asegurarnos de la sanidad de nuestras plantas. 

Partiendo por la arranca, donde las plantas son retiradas del suelo cortando cuidadosamente sus raíces luego de toda una temporada creciendo con las mejores condiciones y en un suelo fumigado contra nemátodos. 
En este proceso es muy importante el orden para poder llevar una correcta trazabilidad de cada lote (variedad/clon/porta injerto) que se va cosechando. 
Luego, todas las plantas son llevadas a un proceso de selección (control de calidad). En esta etapa somos muy rigurosos con nuestros estándares de calidad.
Tomando en cuenta el sistema radicular (volumen de raíces y su adecuada distribución en la base del tronco), firmeza unión patrón – injerto y sanidad general. Logrando así producir plantas de la mejor calidad posible, fuertes y sanas.
